Maintenance

Maintenance plans designed to fit your needs.

Whether you are looking for routine cleaning or a one off visit, we’re here to help you stay on top of maintenance. It’s our philosophy that a good maintenance regiment is the best way to make sure your fish stay healthy and your tank looks incredible. It truly is cornerstone to aquarium keeping.

Routinely cleaning your aquarium is important from both an aesthetic and health perspective. Cleaning removes fish waste and other toxic compounds that build up over time creating an unhealthy or even dangerous environment for fish, shrimp and even live plants. Also, a clean aquarium is fun to look at. It’s a good conversation starter when guests come over and a matter of pride at Fresh Flow Aquatics!

How often should I clean my fish tank?

Generally we recommend that you clean your fish tank every week to every other week. Maintenance demands are different on every tank. Lightly stocked tanks generally need to be maintained less frequently than heavily stocked ones. If you’re wondering how often your fish tank should be cleaned out, get in touch to find out.
